Manatee County Habitat for Humanity’s new ReStore on SR 70 opened to the public on Saturday, August 18th with a Grand Opening Event. The event included a bounce house, blood mobile, hourly prize drawings, popcorn, and cotton candy. The Manatee Habitat ReStore is located at 5108 15th St E in the City of Bradenton, on State road 70. Store hours are Mondays – Saturdays from 9am – 7pm.
Manatee Habitat ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used home furnishings, building materials, and appliances. To maximize organizational efficiency and reduce cost, the Habitat ReStore locations on Hardin and Cortez have moved into the new ReStore on SR 70, bringing together all the best deals in one convenient location. Profits from the ReStore are used to help build more affordable housing in Manatee County.
To donate, just drop off your gently-used items at the ReStore or call Manatee Habitat to schedule a free pickup at (941) 355-7082. Manatee Habitat is actively recruiting volunteers to help in the ReStore. From customer service to helping process donations, the Manatee Habitat ReStore offers a multitude of volunteer opportunities geared toward individual interests and skills.
